right now there are 20+ drum sounds, which is a lot to navigate and select from.
We can build a simpler drum kit with less choices initially.
My first draft:
One of: - Kick, clap, boom, ride, crash, snare, cym short, perc 1,
include: - hat closed, hat pedal (rename to hat half), and hat open
exclude: all the other stuff (unless you think 1-2 more important to include).
we should rename the current drum kit to 'full drum kit', and make a simpler version to have as the default drum_kit.
note: cym short, and perc bright are a similar sound - both are "Cym Short"
