please do a comprehensive survey and hack/exploration to see if u can find weirdness, e.g. I found some moving up from pattern editor to music editor.
Perhaps some of the earlier directives about remembering focus in sections were bad ideas we should undo.
see if you can map out CUJs of navigation, and refactor existing tests & add tests to verify them (probes?)
propose some re-working of focus rules that u think are consistent, effective, and predictable for users.
also the focus glow moves into the menu when opening, instead it's like a 'different layer'
