Suggestions from ninefold-reviewer's review of #549 — https://github.com/cfsh/ninefold/pull/549#pullrequestreview-3512283857
#549 verdicted CONVERGED; none of these blocked it. All three are coherence residuals in CLAUDE.md left by the same change — the file went from describing two environments to three, and from "roles live here" to "roles live here, except the ones that don't". Unclaimed and unlabelled, per CLAUDE.md.
CLAUDE.md:416 — "Roles live here" now sits one line above its own exception#549 inserts *"Roles whose work is not code live in the office repo instead"* directly beneath *"Only dev sessions take chunks. Roles live here"*. The instead carries it for a careful reader, but the preceding sentence is unqualified and now wrong, in exactly the paragraph a session skims to learn where roles are defined. Qualify the original clause rather than relying on the next paragraph to retract it.
CLAUDE.md:487 — the heading ### Auto-starting the poll loop (sandbox box only). This is the one that can actually mislead: #549 describes the WSL office box as "Sandboxed", so a session there can read itself into scope, arm a 30-min cron, and reach a merge step (merge_pr.py) that #549 itself says cannot run on that box. :489's body does say "sandboxed Windows box", which resolves it — so this is a heading fix, not a behaviour bug.CLAUDE.md:466 — "the main hacking session on the sandbox box" — now ambiguous between two cobal boxes.CLAUDE.md:787 — "installed the real PythonSoftwareFoundation.PythonManager package on both boxes". A count of two in a file that just became three, and it sits in the section asserting bare python is present — which #549's new bullet documents as false on the WSL box.CLAUDE.md:599 — "Regenerating this from a cold start" mentions neither the office nor the third environmentThat paragraph is the doc's own designated summary of *"the non-obvious things a brand-new session must know"*, and #549's stated premise is that a session which doesn't know these two things gets something concrete wrong. If that premise holds, they belong in the cold-start list.

Not included here, because it is a pre-merge check on #549 rather than a follow-up: design_docs/003-the-probe-host-and-the-move-to-wsl.md does not exist on main — it lands only with open PR #547 — so merging #549 first leaves a CLAUDE.md citing an unresolvable path. Raised on the PR.
