> "On the pattern page, I think we can move the play pattern button up next to the change instrument button. Just because then both buttons will be on the top, and that will look sensible."
Straight layout polish: the pattern page's two page-level action buttons currently sit apart; grouping them on the top row reads as one control cluster.
Two things to keep in mind while moving it:
